Example: HP ENVY Photo 7858
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When I turn the printer on, an error screen appears "make sure your device is unlocked and that you accept the notification to connect".  If I try to print from a file such as word, nothing happens.  The only way to print is to hold the right mouse key and then print.  That USUALLY works.    HELP

@ChristmasMan,

Let's try to restore the printer to the network default settings:

To restore the printer to the original network settings:

1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the
Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
2. Touch Network Setup.
3. Touch Restore Network Settings.
A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.
4. Touch Yes.
5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

If the issue persists, then the next step would be to perform an advanced reset on the printer.

We are going to provide you some additional steps via PM that are specific related to your product model
