Does anyone else find the support web site lacking? I have been trying to find the part number for the 256MB DIMM to use in my printer and can not do it on the HP site. I found the printer page and opened the manual list and when I tried to open the user guide for the printer I found it to be a broken link. If I go to the parts store and search for the printer it doesn't find it. If I search for a part number I found on another site it can't find that either even though the other site says it is the HP part number. If they don't want to sell parts for older printers they could at least say so and let use at a minimum verify part numbers. It's not like it costs a lot to store a few megs worth of data.

As the 2015 is EOSL likely support will be minimal and some acessories are no longer supplied. You will have better success ordering from one of the Vendors on Ebay who sell printer memory and it will cost a lot less.

Hi,
Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I actually did not expect HP to be selling parts any longer. I was looking to validate a part number from another site that claimed it was the HP part number for the DIMM module. There is actually some material on the site that gives info on the P2015dn and allows you to download drivers. It also claims to have other documentation like the user manual available. This manual might just have the part numbers for things like DIMMs in it. However when you click on the link to the manual you are met with a 404. Things like this should not happen!! I believe that they do happen because HP does not want to spend money maintaining information that while it is useful to it's customers they think it does not bring in money. I think this is a false belief because a company that takes care of it's existing customers makes them repeat customers. I have purchased other HP printers because I got the support I needed. That may be changing and there are other printers out there.
