Enterprise, MFP, and PRO MFP

HP support released a document stating that HP LaserJet Enterprise, Enterprise MFP, and HP LaserJet Pro MFP have memory chips that can be read by third parties when the toner cartridges are sent back for recycling.

Need to know what model of printers and the cartridge numbers this impacts.

I have no idea what is your concern. All later model hp laser toner cartridges have chips that have the information cited in the article. It is just data of number of pages printed with that toner and sometimes install date and last used date and sometimes even usage figures with page sizes. Third party vendors can use the information and really have no use for it. All they want is the ability to copy the chip design so their toners will work in hp products just like oem toners. The chip has to be present for the toner to work and new or remanufactured toners have "new" chips when out of the box until they are used.
