I can't print on card stock or onto labels because the toner flakes or just does not adhere.  Is this a problem that exists with the new HP printers?  What can I do?

You have to specify the paper type when printing on cardstock or labels, if the printer is printing on the stock for labels and assuming it's plain paper the fuser won't be hot enough and may be running too fast.

In other words fuser temperature is adjusted and
feed speed is adjusted depending upon the type of media being used.

Thank you!... I can't believe I didn't take that into account.  Sure enough I selected "labels" and my print job is streak free.
