Envy 120 touch screen will not respond to touch, the screen is lit. I can print/scan from the PC just cannot copy/scan from the touch screen. None of the other tools on the touch screen work either. The other tools outside the touch screen work e.g. open the paper drawer, wifi on/off, power on/off, help (?). I updated the software and firmware, performed a 60 second hard boot, nothing has corrected the problem.

Worked thru several suggestions received in the forum as well as PM's from HP techs. Updated the firmwire, performed a hard reboot while the printer was powered up, and attempted a reset of the ENVY 120 per HP tech instructions but because the touch screen would not respond to touch could not complete the reset procedure. The final suggestion was to call HP technical support, after some review of what had been performed it was determinined to be a touch screen hardware failure. The limited choices I had, because it was out of warranty (purchased in the fall of 2012), was to send the unit in for repair and pay a fee to HP to set up the repair plus the cost of repair or buy a new printer. Opting to purchase a new printer.
Closing out this problem with the forum and saying goodbye to my old friend the ENVY 120 e-print all-in-one printer...
