hpeprint is another external application, one about which I have little knowledge.

 

I certainly don't know what combination of paper size, paper type and paper source attributes may be present in the print jobs generated via hpeprint, nor how they might (mis-) match what the printer believes (via its configuration) it is loaded with (in terms of those atttributes).

Thanks @DSwanRChives - On quick glance, I don't see anything that it could be.  I do see that I have newer versions of 2 things (not the firmware, which is the same).
