Officejet Pro 8600, Windows op system
just installed Tray 2. It will not recognize that it has paper. Constantly says tray is empty.
Tried changing trays between 1 and 2. The new tray worked fine in tray 1 slot.

Have you selected TRAY 2, as your DEFAULT tray on your PRINTER.
1. Press setup menu on the printer
2. Choose Preferences
3. Choose Default TRAY
4. Select tray 2
