Samsung Xpress M2070 Laser Multifunction Unit
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am unable to scan with my Samsung Xpress M2070 Laser Multifunction Unit. My computer is a brand new (three months old) Dell Inspiron Model #3671, with 32Gigabytes RAM, and a 1 Terabyte, SSD hard drive.  This is the first time I've attempted to scan since purchasing my new Dell Computer. The Samsung Xpress M2070 Laser Unit scanned normally with my old computer.

The Samsung Xpress M2070 Laser Unit print function operates as designed. When I click the Scan icon in the Samsung Easy Printer Manager, I receive this error message: "I / O error while communicating with device."

I've installed all the latest updated software and drivers for the Samsung Xpress M2070 Laser Unit. Since the updated software and printer drivers did not resolve the problem, I am turning to the H/P community to see if someone might be able to diagnose and repair this problem.  Thank you to anyone who offers a possible solution to this problem.
