HP Color laserJet M452dn

We have using our laserjet printers to print FTP reports from our mainframe system. However, these are failing on the M452 we just deployed.  Although I can FTP to the printer and pring using Windows, I did notice this error:

500 Command unrecognized or unimplemented
User (10.100.2.12:(none)):

Password:
230 Hewlett-Packard FTP Print Server Version 3.0.

On the other printers, this error does not occur:

220 FTP Server Ready
530 Authentication required.
User (10.100.2.65:(none)):
331 Enter password.
Password:
230-Hewlett-Packard FTP Print Server Version 3.0.

To print a file use the command put <filename> [portx]
or 'cd' to a desired port and use put <filename>.

Is there something further I need to do, this has worked automatically on the other laserjet printers we've deployed.  The error log we see on the mainframe side includes:

SendCommand: Type I

-->Type I

<-<500 Command unrecognized or unimplemented

Protocol Error: 500 Command unrecognized or unimmplemented

Error: Comman rejected by FTP Host: 500 Dommand unrecognized or unimplemented

Any suggestions would be appreciated, FTP Printing is enabled, latest firmare applied. The fir

Thanks,

Alan
