I am experiencing a narrow, vertical line, from top to botttom on the left side of a copied document, when using the top document feeder of my OfficeJet 4650 printer; the line does not appear when coping material using the flat bed feature. This problem came on suddently after having copied several documents within the last 24 hours. The vertical line apears about 2 inches from the left side of the copied sheet.
I have run the print head cleaning and alignment programs and rebooted the printer to no avail; appears to be a dirty hardware problem.

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve the black line when copying from the ADF. Clean the thin strip of glass to the left of the main bed.
