HP Wireless Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, I am just a little confused on how to hook up my printer. I have had this for 6 to 7 months and still am unable to print anything from my computer. Please help. I have a AT&T U-verse Ethernet. I have plugged it into that and hooked it up to the printer. Just am getting nothing. Can you maybe guide me though the hook up. Thanks so much. Scherre Becker, [Personal Information Removed]

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you are unable to connect your HP Officejet 6800 printer to the network, correct me if I am wrong.

I would like to help you out with this issue today.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

How do you want to connect the printer wired or wireless?

As you said you plugged the printer and it is not working, how did you connect the printer and are you getting any error message?

Meanwhile:

Reset the printer.

  • Remove the power cable from the printer when it is turned on.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30secs.
  • Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Cheers.
