Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi ,

 

I recenly got an HP printer model M203dw.

 

I tried to install it in a computer running on  WIN 7 Embedded 32-bit but I am getting an error during the driver installation that the LHDM driver  IS NOT FOUND and the IPP PRINTER driver IS NOT FOUND.

 

I tried every available driver on HP's website for WIN 7 32-bit but I am still getting the same error.

 

Are they drivers spesific for this model for WIN 7 embedded 32-bit or an alternative solution?

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP LaserJet Pro M203dw Printer. I understand that are unable to install the printer on your computer and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting. 

 

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • How is the printer connected to computer, Wired or Wireless?

Meanwhile:

 

Perform hard reset on the printer.

  • Remove the power cable from the printer when it is turned on.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30secs.
  • Connect the power cable to the printer and directly to the wall outlet.
  • Turn on the printer.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Hi Sandy,

 

Thanks for getting back to me.

 

I am using a USB cable to connect the printer with my computer.

 

I tried hard resetting the printer but still the same problem.

 

Any other ideas?

Superb job on trying the different steps to isolate the issue.

Hi Sandy,

 

Thanks for getting back to me.

 

The steps from 1-5 are refering if I am  understand correctly how to do troubleshooting if you are trying to connect the printer  with wireless or wired network connections and Windows computers.

 

I am using a usb cable.

 

So steps 1-5 I cant do them.

 

Also I  have done steps 6 & 7 multiple times before I reach out for help.

 

Also I have tried all the drivers from the web site for win 7 32-bit but still the same problem.

And I tried the CD coming with the printer too.

 

Is there a way to have the drivers that my computers is looking for  somehow seperately so I can try and install them?

I dont understand why is working on my WIN 7 computers and not with WIN 7 emb........
