Desk Jet 3054
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi!

I have an issue trying to connect the Desk Jet 3054 with my wireless router (Linksys WRT 1900AC) I get the error message as follows: WPS error when I press the WPS button and then hit the WPS button on the router. Then I try to connect via software using a USB cable and notihng takes place. Can someone assist great printer but seems to have this issue all the time. Please adivse. Thanks.

Suggest you don't use WPS. Connect via your router manually following the User Guide.  Page 36

Follow Traditional Wireless Connection and start over.  Do not connect the USB cable until told to do so.

 

Now try.

I tried the tradtional way but for some reason when It ask me to insert the USB cable after it has done checking for network connectivity, and instert the USB cable into the USB port of the computer it does nothing to recongnize the printer. Help!

Totally remove the HP software from your PC. Reboot. Download the newest full featured software and drivers from the site above. Now try.

Sorry man uninstalled and reinstalled software with no success, it seems as its not reading the USB cable to the computer cause nothing happens. I have rebooted the printer and restore default setting and nothing seems to work.

Let's try another USB cable, another USB port in the computer, then another computer.
