Product: HP ScanJet 5000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

What image settings  (brightness, contrast, and midtone settings) are best to use in Smart Document Scan Software v3.8 for scanning a text document with some minor graphics like color borders? I am currently using the default image settings (128 for each) with 300dpi and 24-bit color  and the scan is not clear even though it is clear in the preview screen.
