Product: HP Photosmart 7520 All in one
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and older

I have 5 ink cartridges: 564 XL black, yellow, red and blue, and I put in a small 564 black XL photo cartridge, but when I do an ink report print out, the photo cartridge doesn't register, and I can't print.

 

Is there a different small black  cartridge I should be using?

Just search the web for your cartridges.

According to the manual, I am supposed to order a 564XL black photo cartridge as one of the five cartridges needed for my HP Photosmart 7520.  Unfortunately, I inserted a new cartridge, and the ink level report didn't show that there was any ink in that cartridge. So I inserted another new 564XL black photo cartridge. Same result.  This means that I can't do any black printing, I can only do color.

 

Help!
