. After finally clearing a paper jam problem due to a biro lodged in my HP Deskjet
3050 all-in-one J610 series, I tried to resume printing, however, when I plugged the device into the
wall socket it would not work. The only letters that displayed on the device were "MFG mode" Can
Somebody please explain what this means? For some unknown reason I cannot get any of the
other buttons to function anything either, including the power source button?
Any comments or replies would be greatly
Appreciated. Beemac.

Hello,
It seems to me that the printer is not getting back to the normal home screen.
Please try the below steps that should resolve the problem ..
- While the Printer is ON, unplug the Power cord from back of the printer.
- wait for 30 seconds.
- Plug in the Power Cord to the printer
- Printer should now display the regular home screen.
If the issue still persists, then call HP Tech Support (US) 1-800-474-6836 for further assistance.
If you are not in US , then log on to www.hp.com , at bottom-left corner there is a world map icon, click on it and then select the region you belong to, which would then provide support options for you for that region.
