I have not been able to reinstall All-in-One printer software. Have searched for any type of HP file that may still be somewhere on my system from the attempts at reinstalling. I found this in System Registry:
Hpsamd.sys with description Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Media Driver is a driver file from company Hewlett-Packard Company belonging to product Smart Array SAS/SATA Controller Media Driver.
Is this controller driver for an all-in-one or something else? I do NOT have any other HP products other than a Photosmart C4750. Wondering if I delete these registry entries if it may fix the issue I am having with installer crashing.

This same file is causing my new HP Proliant ML350g8 to crash(BSOD) when booting with a Disaster recovery boot CD (using CA Arcserve)
The HP server support tech said this file is not an HP file........ but a Microsoft file..
I have seen other stuff out on the net that says this file is a Micorosft signed and date stamped file what ever that means
In any event it looks like I will not be able to get through this Diaster Recovery simulation until I can get this file/driver out of the mix
