When scanning documents it does allow for pdf. how do i correct?

Hi,

 

PLEASE select document. Looks like last time you scanned a photo.

I tried that. The option for pdf does not even show up in the drop down.

Hi,

 

Please try from printer software:

 

    (a) Double click icon printer on desktop,

    (b) Select Scan a Document or Photo,

 

         Can you see icons (templates) on the left hand side ?

 

       1. If Yes,

 

    (c) select save as pdf,

 

       2. If no,  please download an run the following tool:

                http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

          It may fix the problem for you. If not, post back full error message(s).
