I need to get disassembly and reassembly instructions -- and a parts breakdown -- for my printer. One of my kids apparently used a *little* too much pressure on the document feeder to try to force a book closer to the scanner glass, and now the document feeder will not sit flat on the printer, nor will it feed documents.

Printer Service Manuals are typically supplied to Repair technicians / Repair facilities (where ever you can have your printer repaired / serviced).

You might be able to track down a Service Manual on the Internet - be careful that the only thing you download is the PDF data and not a bunch of bug bits or extra "stuff".

You might trek over to your local Repair House (For Example, in the USA, Staples provides HP printer repair) -- beg to see the manual; the Tech may take mercy on you and give you the information you seek.

That just won't do. I was able to get the service manual for my Envy 17t laptop, which was a good thing because disassembly is non-trivial. Mind you there are about a half dozen iterations of said manual, but at least I can get it.

I'm not asking for the crown jewels here, I'm asking for the service manual for a discontinued, out of warranty, printer.

I am indeed sorry you are upset.

It is not a matter of what you are asking for -- it is a matter that we, as a community resource, do not have the manual to give.

Consumer grade printers do not come with service manuals.

Business grade printers (may / likely) provide service manuals as these machines are expected to be in a work environment and require field repair.

We are not a direct conduit to any HP Services, including HP Technical Support.

Unboxing and setup videos aren't much help unfortunately. And the link to the user guide is not what I'm looking for.

Thanks anyway
