Product Name and Number: HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A Plus / CM756A
Operating System: Windows XP
Hi
I have sent a number of scans over the HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A Plus scan to email function. I use a wired connection and set it up over the printers IP address.
Where can I see these scans?
Thanks in Advance
Simon

I don't quite know what you mean by sent scans. If you are looking for where the scans are stored I can probably help you.
Take a look in the my Documents folder (for your user name) for a folder called my Scans.

Hi Simon,
The Scan to Email feature allow you to scan directly to an email address.
Whatever email address you will type during the scan, there you should see the scan attached to an incoming email.
Please let me know if you may see any issue,
Shlomi

If you are using an email Outlook account then you should be able to see the emaills with scans attached in your sent mail folder. Check Outlook options to see how it has been set up.

That is Interesting. I have never had that happen.
The one difference between what you and I do is that I always prefer to scan into a folder and then attach the scan manually to an email. This could be a bug in the AIO scanner software. I have never known anyone to pose the query that you started your thread with.

Hi Simon,
To add, the specific setting will affect Microsoft Outlook. not necessarly will affect the specific problem as the printer directly connect to the SMTP server to send the email without using any software client
i assume the mail account / server settings will take a place rather than any email client.
Which email service are you using?
If you use any any public account as gmail, I would suggest you to try checking the Sent Mail folder through the web access to check if the sent email are stored on the server.
If the server does not store any outgoing emails on the server, those sent by the printer will not be stored as well.
