HP OfficeJet PRO 8630

There is no manual pause button as there was in older printer models.

How does one delay dial out on faxes.

I have to dial a series of numbers before making a long distance fax

519 376 4700 is my service coverage for long distance calls.

I've read other forums suggesting that I hit the hashtag to delay dialling. That has not worked.  It doesn't recognize the input as delay.

I've heard that if one hits hashtag several times a comma should pop up on the touchscreen (on printer), tried that but no comma.

I was told to enter the coverage/long distance providers number in the speed dial, then follow steps to enter more numbers. However, all that does it just speed dial my 519 376 4700 number.  No option to enter the fax number.

This is a 400 dollar printer - this should be easy.

TIP:    To add a pause in the fax number you are entering, touch * repeatedly, until a dash (-) appears on the display.
