hp psc 1350 all-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since I installed Windows 10, my printer printed no more than one page before fading but unlike previous occasions no warning were displayed. Thinking that this was due to ink depletion, I had the cartilage filled. Since then I have not been able to print with no warning or era message. I have checked everything several times and used hp printer doctor a few times and other suggestions from hp websites and all ended in print test which were all OK other than black shades being dull, showing that the print-head needing to be cleaned. The recommendation of the test result is “use your printer’s control panel to clean the printhead. Select Setup, tools, then Clean Printhead.” On the Windows 7 I could do this but I am unable to find this path on Windows 10 or any other way that would lead to clean printhead.

Hi,

This is an old printer. Please download and run the following tool:

    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL50403/mp-150580-2/hppiw.exe

and hope (repeat hope) it can find something for you and allow your Windows 10 computer(s) to print. More instructions:

Good luck,

BH

Thank you for your kind reply. I had used the tool before for this problem and downloaded the latest version of driver to no effect. I cleaned the print head manually and while it is printing OK, everytime it is turned off (over night for example), in turning it on the next time, it authomatically produces a new test page!

I am still unable to find appropriate panel in Windows 10 to deal with printer problems.
