Is it common for wireless printing to open some application ports in the NAT firewall of a Router, for wireless communication to work properly?
This was not mentioned during the software installion, but I found out about this after searching the HP support site about WiFi printing problems.
I found out that my Router was blocking traffic over TCP/UDP port #4129 (id: nuauth), and therefore declined all print jobs AND ePrint to function properly..?
Also, I needed to add rules for TCP/UDP ports for 9100 and 9220...
I guess the 9100 (hp-pdl-datastr) is needed for the actual communication?
My Router is a Ubee EVW321B.
Nice user-friendly interface, but maybe somewhat over protective..?
I would like to read if other users did assign some ports for the PS 5522 to work properly over a WiFi connection?

The document here has information on the port settings for the Photosmart 5520 printer. Your router was not listed, but it suggested the following for unlisted cases:
- If your firewall software is not listed in the table, manually unblock the ports used by the printer.
- Open your firewall software, then locate the configuration settings.
NOTE:
Only change the settings in your local area (home) network. Before proceeding, contact the firewall vendor for additional information on how to change these settings. - Set your firewall to unblock the following port range:
- UDP port range 1000-65535
NOTE:
You do not need to specify each port individually for this port range. Set one port rule for the entire range of ports. - Set your firewall to unblock the following individual ports:
- TCP port 80
- TCP port 443
- TCP port 8080
- TCP port 9220
- TCP port 9500
NOTE:
Set one port rule for all these individual TCP ports.

Thank you Bob,
The document describes it, so let us assume the relevance of the settings. 😉
My printer works quite well, sometimes halting for a brief moment but that is more because of interference I guess.
Greetings,
Ricardo
