Officejet Pro 6230
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I recently swapped out my Verizon Fios wireless router for a new model (Quantum Gateway) and I am unable to get my Officejet Pro 6230 back onto the network.  I know there are potentially some compatibility concerns with newer routers like this that are 5G capable, but I don't see any reason notations that the printer would not be able to use the 2.5ghz band.

Right now, all I'm getting is a fast-blinking power light on the printer.  I can't get any of the other feature buttons to engage/work (wifi, cancel, etc.), so I can't even seem to reset the printer to its factory settings.  I'm kind of at a loss as to what to try next.

Any ideas if this printer will work wirelessly on the new router/network, and if so, how I would go about getting it on the network?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks, I had already checked this FAQ.  Unfortunately, what I'm experiencing isn't listed here.  The only light I have on is the Power light, and it's not blinking so much as rapidly cycling.  So unfortunately, still seeking some kind of guidance on how to break it out of whatever mode it's stuck in.

With the power on, unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Wait 10 mins. Plug the unit back in the wall outlet not using any power strip or surge protector. Status?

Yep, I've tried that already.  I actually unplugged it for a full day, plugged it back in and it almost immediately went straight back to the high-cycle flashing power button light.

Did you verify the power supply output with a Volt meter?

I did not but this started happening on the original outlet in which it was working, plus i've moved it to two other outlets while trying to get it work, and the issue is the same regardless.  It's almost like the printer is stuck trying to communicate with the old network, not finding it, but sending out signal repeatedly to try to find it.  Total guess, I'm sure there are other more likely explanations.
