HP 8600 Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a second paper tray used on an HP 8600.  Will this tray work on an 8700 or 8710 Printer?

Hello, @thulen – Hope you are well 🙂

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I understand that you are trying to get the second paper tray of Officejet 8600 series printer with the Officejet 8710 printer.

First off, the Officejet 8710 series printer is not compatible with the 2nd paper tray. Only the 8720, 8730 and 8740 printer is compatible with the 2nd tray.

Also, the Officejet 8600 series 2nd tray is not compatible with the Officejet 8720, 8730 or 8740 printer. Check the 8700 printer series 2nd tray here: http://hp.care/2rnOilS

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Good luck 🙂
