I have been trying to install and HP office 5610 all in one printer and scanner on a new computer with windows 10, I can get it to print but can not find out how to install the HP solutions center software I had on my other computer ,windows7, can anybody help with that?
The HP web site is a joke, can't find anyway to email for help just AI options that are no help at all!!
Think I will buy a different brand next time because of this!!!!
Don't know if I will ever see a response from here or not

The document here explains the issue. HP Solution Center was written a dozen years or so ago and depends on Adobe Flash. Support for Flash was ended at the end of 2020 by Adobe, and in July 2021 Microsoft removed support for Flash in Windows 10 versions 21H1 and later. An internet search for "Windows 10 Flash support" may turn up interesting reading as to the "why" but the bottom line is that Flash is no longer an option for recent versions of Windows.

The link I gave above lists some alternatives for scanning with Windows 10. See the options near the bottom of the document. Disclaimer - I do not have an Officejet 5610 and have not tried these.

Did some more checking and tried the software in the links, under printers it shows driver is unavailable when I try and run the software I get can't find device, it has an option for manual search that wants you to enter IP address or host name, this is not on a network and I put in HP Officejet 5600 but that did not work. I have looked for a driver for this printer for windows 10 but can't find one. Everything takes you back to HP site and there is nothing there?

The following may help: in Windows 10 type Control Panel in the search spot next to the start icon. Click on Control Panel, Devices and Printers, Add a Printer. When the Add a Device window opens click "The printer I want isn't listed" in the lower left. In the box that appears click "Add a local or network printer with manual settings", Next. Click "Use an Existing port" and select the latest of USB001, USB002, etc. then click Next.
At this point a box for "Install the printer driver" will appear. Select HP from the list (not Hewlett-Packard or Hewlett Packard) and then select the second HP Officejet 5600 series Version 6.1.7223.1 (6/22/2006), Next, Next, Next, Finish.
Now go here to get the HP Scan and Fax App from the Microsoft Store.
