Product: laserjet pro mfp m476dn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I simply cannot get this printer setup wirelessly.. it works when plugged into laptop to print, but even then won't scan .. cannot find any video's that address this.. the wireless icon doesn't even pop up at the ready menu

Well that's because the M476dn is not a wireless printer.  It is USB and Ethernet only.   Hence the dn = direct/network.

 

If you had that nw or dw, those are wireless.

last I checked when I print from my laptop, it didn't have any wires, but thanks for the help captain obviouse.. I got it fixed..
