Won't print black ink after installing new cartridge

Everything worked just fine until I put in the new black cartridge.  It verified on my computer that it is a genuine HP ink cartridge and now nothing prints right because there is no black printing.  I went through all the steps that are suggested online, making sure it's in correctly, checking the air vents, cleaning and aligning the print heads--the alighment now fails everytime.

This printer isn't that old.  I just put in new color cartridges and a new 564XL cartridge.  The last packages of inks also came with a standard black ink, which doesn't even fit???  Online it says that they both should work fine (by an HP employee) but that's not true--the std black cartridge doesn't.

My husband and I each have HP desktop computres and HP laptops.  Feeling that HP wasn't making the quality that you used to, I bought an Epson printer last time I needed one, instead of an HP.  It doesn't print pictures as well, but other than that, I haven't had any problems with it. 

However, I've never had any problems with our HP Photosmart 6515 until simply changing the black cartridge!  Soooo frustrating!!

I understand that you are unable to print in black from your HP Photosmart 6515 e-All-in-One Printer.

This issue could occur if the nozzles of the printhead that print in black are clogged or not working.
