Officejet 8620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello - my scanner will not scan from tray, only the glass. It will copy successfully from tray. I have read instructions on how to fix this issue from other posts, but for another operating system. I have Windows 10. Thanks for any help you can provide!

In General:

Scanning from the ADF should respond as you read in the other Thread in which you posted your question.

Important Caveats:

Media type (kind of paper, including the weight) AND the Size of Paper must match the requirements as outlined in the Specifications.

In addition to Media and Paper Size, not all printers support all options when scanning (or printing, for that matter).  For example, your printer may -- or may not -- support duplex scanning from ADF.

Scan DPI settings can affect scan success.  For example, for scans made from the Printer, select no more than 300 DPI.  Your printer may support higher DPI (scan resolution) when using the printer software on your computer.
