I keep getting the "Paper size mismatch" Paper detected does not match paper size selected. Make sure the paper size is correct to continue to job.

I'm using 4x9 envelopes in the tray. What am I doing wrong or missing? And yes, I have HP ink installed.

I get the same error message when I try to print on 4x6 index cards.

In both cases, I'm installing the papers correctly in my tray. Please help with both please. Thanks in advance.

Greetings,

In response to the issue you are facind on your printer, I would to understand if you have done both of these listed below:

  1. Set the paper size on the Printer
  2. Set the paper size while printing from Windows/Mac

Keep in mind both of the above are important for you to achieve error free printing on special size papers.

  • Click on the link given below go to page 25 of the PDF that opens, to ensure you are following the correct steps to insert photo paper into the tray.

  • Click on the link given below to set the paper size and type on your computer OS

If you have followed both the steps above, and still face issues, you would need to run through this document http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-Pro-8610-e-All-in-One-Printer/5367603/model/5367606...

Hope this fixes the issue you are facing.

I am trying to print from my iPad. So windows and OS doesn't apply. Unless I need to print from a computer.
