FYI. I fixed the problem by installing the printer on my home network, using a different computer.  When the printer SSID was set to my home network SSID, I could successfully install the software from the original Laptop which had the problem.  Not sure what is wrong with the Laptop, but problem is now resolved. Thanks for your help. Can you please close this case.
