Z5400 code "update firmware"

Have a designjet Z5400 that gives code 21:13 then goes to 08:04 "Update Firmware".  I've updated firmware and it seemed to load normal but goes back to codes after firmware update and rebooting.

Thanks for contacting with HP Support Forum.

JUst goto Diagnostic menu...  ran the service station test.

If failed the service station, please replace it (P/N: E1L21-67006). If not failed please try reseatting all the connections between the main PCA and the Interconnect, and between the interconnect and the front panel and service statio with interconnect PCA.

How do you get to the "Diagnostic Menu"? I don't see that opiton on the front panel display.

Hi,

Please turn off the printer and then off the back side switch also. Then again turn on the printer, at the of please look at the control panel and lets see the 6 buttons will comes in same time. At the time if you just press the buttons one by one: Cancel, Home and Help/Eject buttons.

After few seconds 6 buttons will imulated in 3 times after that initialized the printer and automatically goes to diagnostic mode.
