Does anyone know if it is possible to add more memory or upgrade the current memory to my LaserJet 1200 printer. It sometimes takes a while to print depending on what it is and I believe the reason is due to it being an older printer and having limited memory. It runs great and I don't wnat to replace if it at all possible. If you know about this, please advise how and where I can purchase a memory card and how is it installed? thanks.

The formatter board contains 8 MB of ROM, 8 MB of RAM, and an
embedded 32-bit Coldfire V3 processor. There is one DIMM slot
available for DIMM expansion (supporting an 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, or
64 MB DIMM).

did you purchase one of the part numbers listed above, or just buy a memory chip from another source?
