Product: hp officejet 6812 all in one

I recently changed all my 935 colored cartridges and my 934 black cartridge and now my printer will print in color but not in black in white.  I tried cleaning the print head and even got a different 934 cartridge and it still won't print in black and white.  This printer is a little over a year old and this is the first problem that I am having with it.  Any help would be appreciated.
