My account is attached to the printer and my mom wants to use the hp ink service thing but in her account, is there a way to have both our accounts attached while her account pays for subscription?

Hi @BZach,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I understand that your mother would like to enroll your printer into the Instant Ink program, but you have already claimed the printer in your HP Connected account.

There is not a way to have more than 1 person to claim the printer and have it showing in their HP Connected account.   To have your mother pay for the Instant Ink program for the printer, there are two options that would work.  The first option is to setup the Instant Ink program using your HP Connected account and you use her payment method.  If your mother is similar to mine, she won’t like that option because she would then have to log into your HP Connected account to manage the Instant Ink program.

The second option is to remove the web services on the printer then re-enable it to get a new claim code.  This would remove the printer from your HP Connected account (and thereby losing the ePrint email address the printer currently has) and your mother then could claim the printer in her HP Connected account and set up and manage the Instant Ink program that way.  My personal favorite would be this method although it will mean getting a new ePrint email address for the printer.

If you would like further information about HP's Instant Ink you can always visit the HP Instant Ink website or please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you reside in the USA. If you live outside the USA please click here to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.
