I had to change router.  When I set up the router I change to network name and used the same passphrase as the old modem.  Now I can't connect my printer.  I find the router but get invalid passphrase.  Can someone tell me what is wrong?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you do a "Restore Network Settings"?

Can you check out this video example :

How to Print and Scan after changing router

Hope that helps!

I had installed the printer before and it worked fine.  My router is part of the modem I got from my ISP.  I was having problems with the modem and they gave me a new one.  I tried as best I could to make the new router look exactly like the old router.  Now when I try to run the wireless wizard, to connect the printer wireless I get an error that states the WPA passphrase could not be found.  When I check my network properties I find that the Network authentication is WPA2 personal.

How can I cahnge the Network authentication to look for WPA2 instead of WPA?

I contacted my ISP about the router problem and they set up the new router so that it looked exactly like the old router.  When I tried to connect the printer I still get the error "WPA Invalid."  My ISP says that the can see the printer accessing the network and gives an indication that it is going to connect.  They think that there is something in the printer that is keeping it from connecting.
