Product: hp color laserjet 1600
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I am trying to connect my Mac with my printer-- HP Color LaserJet 1600 and Mac 0S X 10.11 El Capitan. I t looks like it is unsupported. Is there anything I can do? I just purchased an entire set of toner for this printer and it is otherwise in excellent condition. It seems ridiculous that the two machines cannot somehow connect. Please help!
