HP 3055A
Hi. We have recently upgraded to fibre optic broadband and have a new router. Our HP 3055A printer will not now work. We have followed just about every procedure in the manual and on line, still getting nowhere. We cannot find a 'set up wizard' on the printer, getting nowhere fast!! Need clear and simple instructions, preferably from a user of the same printer who knows the menu headings. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums @forgetmenot89!

I hope to help you with the troubles you're having with connecting your Deskjet 3055A to your new network as you have now installed a new router.

Begin with restoring the network defaults on the printer. Select Wireless - Settings - Restore Defaults, and restart the printer.

Next, click one of these guides, depending on which device or Operating System you want to install the printer on, and follow all of the steps in order:

  1. HP Deskjet 3050A, 3070A - Wireless Printer Setup (Windows)
  2. Setting Up Your HP Printer on a Network with Apple AirPort

You should be connected when you're all done the steps, fingers crossed!

Let me know what happens after you test print, scan, and copy.

Good luck 🙂

I hope this helps!
