Recently purchased deskjet 1510 all-in-one .
With my previous HP printer and 'HP solutions center ' I could scan multiple pages as one PDF document.
With this deskjet 1510 new installation :
I do miss the 'HP solutions center ' aplication : it 's only an icon with limited functionality .
When a start the scan function i gett the option to select 'document' or 'picture '
However in the drop menu for the 'File Type ' if get only jpg, bmp , tif ,peg BUT BO PDF file type option !
Impossible to scan in pdf file type !
Does this printer support PDF file type ? does it support multiple page pdf scans ?
If Yes what do you advise to get the fuinctionality for scanning pfd file type
PS : used install CD delivered with new printer to install
Acrobad reader is installed op PC and works normal in other aplications ( f.e. opening pdf file types )
Looking forward to get advise . Thks

Hi,
Thanks for using the forum.
- Double click printer icon on desktop,
- Select Scan a Document or Photo,
- Put the first page on the glass (face down),
- Check options (size, dpi ...), and select Scan document to file,
- Click Scan - machine will scan the first page
- Remove the first page on the glass, put the second page,
- Click + (plus sign) It sits on the left hand side of a red x
- Machine will scan the second page, put 3rd page on the glass and click + again ..... to the end then click Save
- Click Done after Save
Note: Supports Scan Resolution up to 300DPI ONLY.
The technical explaination can be found at this thread:
"Add Scan pages" for resolution up to 300dpi only
Hope that helps.

Thanks for replying , however problem is not solved .
I cannot scan documents to pdf files .
I get the menu to chose Picture or Document scan .
The resolution has been set to 100 dpi & 200 dpi for testing this feature . (Less than 300dpi )
The file type pdf is not listed in the drop menu and cannot be specified !
Immage (picture scans) in available file type formats are working fine .
