I am trying to hook up my HP Deskjet F4180 to my Google Chromebook that has a Google OS. How do I do this?
I read on a forum that I can register the printer to eprint and then use google cloud to print. But, I'm having trouble finding a printer claim code so I can register the printer and so on......
I can't even find a settings button on this printer that was given to me by my in-laws with no operation manual
Thanks!!!!

Hi there, first off here's a link to the user guide for your printer, just in case you need to reference at any time in the future
Now in relation to using the printer to print from your Chromebook there's a couple of things to be aware of. Your printer model is not web enabled so it will not have a claim code. Google refer to this type of printer as a "Classic" type printer and this link will provide instructions of how to connect your classic printer with Google Cloud Print which is how you print from a Chromebook.
This YouTube video on printing from a Chromebook with Google Cloud Print may also be of help in getting started.

Unfortunately the chromebook is the only computer I have
The you tube video shows how to print from a chromebook but.........to start you need a printer that is already connected to another computer. I don't have that.
Just my printer and the chromebook
