I would like to know how do I load my documents onto my hp officejet 8600 plus all in one printer? Do I load the documents with the writting facing upwards or downwards when faxing?

Hello,

Please perform the below mentioned steps that should resolve the issue.

  1. If you are using the top feeder then : place the side you want to fax facing UP.
  2. If you are using the flat bed , then : place the side you want to fax facing down.

Face up.

But not always, and here is the long answer:

There should be a mark showing which side.
if scanning from the glass, face down, because the scanner is looking up from under the glass.
if using the ADF (most people use adf for fax for multiple page), face up. (The 8600 is capable of scanning double sided, but if doing single side, face up).
