Laserjet Pro 200 Series M276N
macOS 10.12 Sierra

dear sir or madam,

my boss bought the laserjet pro 200 series M276N, but he does not the default password to go to admin. I need it because I need to re-calibrate the printer because there is thin blue small line along the paper.

 

Please help me.

I recommend you to try with default username and password and check if this fixes the issue. 

 

1> username default is ADMIN

2> password is BLANK

 

Please complete the steps and let me know the outcome.

hi,

I tried the username and password you gave, it does not work with combinations like these:

-. username : ADMIN, pass: BLANK

-. username: admin, pass: blank

-. username: ADMIN, pass: blank

-. username: admin, pass: BLANK

-. username: ADMIN, pass -> I leave it blank

-. username: admin, pass -> I leave it blank

 

I got this message at the below.

 

"http://npida4dc6.local. is requesting your username and password. The site says: “HP LaserJet device (password only, no username required)@NPIDA4DC6”

 

And then, I tried to insert the password only, it also does not work.

 

Please help me. BTW is there anyway to reset it?

Thanks for the super quick reply. Superb job on trying the different steps to isolate the issue.

 

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen. You can try performing a reset on the printer.
