yes it works to send the document by email to the printer. THANKS
can you still help me with the hp eprint app?
Has this portion of the issue been resolved?
To be clear, all issues are verbatum to the above posting. I am NOT interested in printing from a remote network using email. I am interested in printing from an android device, using the eprint app, to a eprint supported HP printer (LJ Pro M12w) where both devices are connected to the same wireless LAN.
As the above user has stated;
The eprint app indicates it sees my printer.and indicates it is printing, then indicates 'one document printed' but nothing comes out of the printer
my printer has 2 ipv4 addresses listed in the 'self test'.print page (network confid and direct print config)
hp eprint displays the printer as found at the former (network confid ipv4)
wireless printing works fine from pc to printer

Thanks for replying...but I get the impression you didn't read my note otherwise you would have realized I have done everything in the referred to help doc.
I will keep an eye on this posting to see if a solution to HPePrints' failure to function is found and fixed.
I would suggest the programmer that is tasked with fixing this application look into why no print service is installed....probably has a great deal to do with why the print job isn't received by the printer - it hasn't been sent!
SOLUTION to the problem is to uninstall ePrint.
Instead, install 'HP Print Services Plugin' (Android app available at PlayStore). Note that once the app is installed, the printservice must be enabled (turned on). To use it, open any document and under the 'more' menu (3 dots) there will be a 'Print' option. Select it. Done.
