The recommendations you provided were for paper not feeding from paper tray. My issue is that the document feeder (on top for scanning) does not feed the paper and I have to push through with fingers to get it started.

Hello@Relobhhs

My bad, thank you for sharing the issue details.

Here are a few other steps you can try:

1> Please verify if recommended media used. (- Example: some papers are very slick or thin/thick and may not be picked up well.Use Flatbed for special media)

2>Suggest scan/copy with using fresh paper, Check environment for any moisture, dust etc.

3>Please check if the ADF tray is not overloaded. (Try with 10 -15 sheets only).

4> Make sure ADF paper guides are adjusted properly.

5> Please make sure that the paper is pushed inside properly. you should be able to see the message as "document loaded".

6>Clean Roller & separator pads manually.

7>Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with clean water, and then squeeze any excess liquid from the cloth.

8>Use the damp cloth to wipe any residue off of the rollers and the separator pad.

9>Make sure if the ADF cover is closed properly on both sides.

I'll be eagerly waiting to assist you with same,

Once you try these suggestions, please report back.
