I have an HP Envy 7640 connected wirelessly to my home network. I have 64 bit Windows 7 on my HP desktop computer, and it shows that the computer and printer are connected. When i try to print anything (from web, from word, from adobe) the screens show up as if the document will print, but the documents are never going into the print queue (the HP envy is selected as the printer destination). I have run the print & scan doctor from HP, and it shows everything is connected, but the test page doesnt print. All the HP support says is to delete and reinstall drivers which I have done 3 times. I can scan documnets from the printer to my computer so i know there is a connection, and i can print documents from my work HP laptop and iphone, so i know the printer works in terms of printing. If anyone has any ideas on why the documents on my desktop are not reaching the print queue i would be very appreciative. And I have already gone into the services and stopped, started, refreshed and tried to clear the print queue, but there were no documents to clear.

Hi @sgrosser84 ,
I see by your post that you are able to scan, but you can't print from the Windows 7 Desktop computer. I would really like to be able to help you resolve this issue.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Power cycle the router.
Make sure you have Admin Rights on the computer and the printer is online.
Temporarily disable the firewall software on your computer to see if it is interfering with the print job.
Check the port assigned to the printer by going into Devices and Printers, right click the printer and left click Printer Properties. Then click on the Ports tab and see which one is checked. It should be checked on TCP/IP.
Please try the steps in this document to see if it will help resolve this issue. I realize these steps are for Windows 8, but give it a try and let me know how you make out. Go to Step 4: Rename the HPBXPSRENDER.DLL file.
Print Jobs Disappear from the Print Queue and Do Not Print.
If there is anything else I can help you with, just let me know.
Have a nice day!
Thank You.

Hi @gemini02,
Thank you for responding and trying to help me solve this issue. I tried going through the steps you listed, a couple of things came up.
When checking the ports, the printer was connected to a port TH4CI270FF063T with a description of HP network re-discovery port. There was not a Standard TCP/IP port listed, so i created a new port using the printers IP address, but even after restarting both the computer and printer, items are still not going to the print queue.
When i tried to Rename the HPBXPSRENDER.DLL file, that file was not listed. I had similar files, but nothing with t...
I am still able to scan from the printer to the computer, but print jobs are not printing or even showing up in the print queue, are there any other suggestions you may have?

Hi sgrosser84,
Sorry to hear that you are still having issues printing.
I have provided a link from my co-worker @Sunshyn2005 , for Printing issues. The steps provided resolved the issue on this post and I believe will also resolve the issue that we are having.
Let me know what the results are.
Thank You.
