HP Premium Plus photo paper claims to be compatible with all inkjets, so I bought a packet of 50 A4 sheets. The Envy 4500 handbook recommends this paper, yet in the Specs it states the maximum paper weight is 280gsm.  The Premium Plus paper has a weight of 300gsm.

 

Why the contradiction and the apparently misleading erroneous information.?

 

It seems that the 280gsm maximum is correct as I am finding that my Envy 4500 printer will not load this paper correctly and ends up only printing part of a full page image, the rest going off the end of the paper.  It prints fine on plain paper and Epson 225gsm paper.

Hello there

 

Sorry for the experince that you have encounter. Just wonder Is the printer able to pick the media correctly when you print ? or it just having problem to pick and load ? How many sheet of the HP Premium Plus photo paper  you load on the tray, try load 5-10 sheet and see if that help.

 

You may want to double check on the media size setting in software to make sure that is configure correctly.
