Welcome to the HP Support Forums! 🙂  I understand you would like to know if your Envy 5530 supports the WPA2 Encryption type. Created in response to WEP's weaknesses, WPA and WPA2 are the preferred methods of encryption. Most HP wireless printers support these methods.

I suggest taking a look here, under Solution One step Three: Unable to Connect to a Wireless Network When Using WEP Encryption and Shared Key Authentication, as stated:

'HP recommends that you secure your network with WPA or WPA2 wireless security.'

That being said and based on the research I have done, I am going to say Yes, your Envy 5530 does support the WPA2 encryption.
