49 errors are often caused by a print job, clearing the queue may resolve them
Disconnect the printer from the network or PC it is attached to and power cycle it, if it gets to a ready state then it's probably a job.
If it's a job then updating the firmware might help to avoid a repeat problem.
To upgrade the firmware on a networked PC when you don't know which PC on the network is sendng the job temporarily change the the printer IP Address and send the update, then change the IP Address back to what it was
