- firmware update app not working

I have an X476dw.
I am trying to update the firmware, but the app that I have downloaded from the device support page will not work.
The app starts, and it sees my printer, but it will not let me select it. The little box to the left that I need to check to pick the printer just doesnt seem to work. So I cant select anything and therefore cant update the firware.
Can someone please help.
I downloaded the firmware upgrade app from here:

I would like to inform you that the link that you are using to download the firmware seems to be correct. Please try connecting the printer through the USB Cable and finish the USB Installation after which you can try the same steps and it must work fine. In Case, If the network is bad or intermittent, it may not work. However, USB Connection should definetely work.
