Did this happen after a recent software or operating system update?
Does it make copies directly from the printer?
It looks like a driver issue here.
Please make 2 copies directly from the printer without any intervention from the computer to eliminate hardware issues with the printer.
Installed Easy Scan and can now scan with that. But still not from the printer controls itself. Keeps saying no computer found and I have enabled scan to computer in HP utility. Thanks for help so far.
I reviewed the super quick response. You've not mentioned if you reset the Mac printing system. That is the trick. There is an associated video on how to do it. Please perform all these steps patiently and should fix the issue for you.
Then add the printer. and it should work.
I request you to perform all these steps patiently and diligently so that the issue gets resolved.
If it still does not work, please install the full feature printer software from the link mentioned in my previous post.
